We’re a boutique residential interior design studio that specializes in creating serene and sophisticated desert modern interiors with an elegant but relaxed, resort-like feel. Our design aesthetic evokes a comfortable modern minimalist perspective. We work with clients that have an elevated expectation of design and luxury, who demand the very best.
We believe great design comes from working closely with clients, getting to know who they are, understanding their unique personality, and what exhilarates them about their living space. We thrive on the challenge of creating a home that’s an extension of our clients’ identity, where they are supported to live their best lives.

For primary residences as well as vacation homes, we will collaborate with you to create a beautiful space that seamlessly supports your lifestyle and needs. Whether it’s mid-century modern, new century modern, eclectic contemporary, or whatever style speaks to you, we will personalize the design to fit you perfectly. On Full Service Design projects, we do this through our unique onboarding process of new client discovery that includes a biographical questionnaire, an emotional drivers inventory, a design preferences questionnaire, and a photographic style assessment.
Our preference is to do whole home remodels & furnishings to create a completely integrated and aesthetically harmonious home. If you’re looking to get started on something smaller, we do offer a range of services for different client needs.
We also have particular expertise in designing, furnishing and equipping high-income generating luxury vacation rental properties.
Meet Michael
My interest in interior design began early. Growing up in New England, I was influenced by my grandmother’s up to the minute sense of style and decorating and my grandfather’s basement workshop where he churned out custom made wood furniture and moonlighted as a wallpaper hanger to make ends meet. My other grandfather and uncle were builders. You could say it’s in my blood! It wasn’t long before I began building and decorating everything I could get my hands on.
Over the years, I gained hands-on experience remodeling a series of my own homes. A move to Los Angeles and then Palm Springs completely forged my design aesthetic as I discovered minimalist modern architecture. After a successful career as a People & Places executive in high tech, I turned my passion for design into my full-time profession, launching my own interior design studio here in Palm Springs.
As a designer, I’m uniquely able to collaborate with clients to craft a design vision that’s truly an expression of who they are and what makes them feel happy. With a graduate degree in psychology, I design spaces that appeal to the senses in a very tangible way while they create an uplifting and supportive emotional environment.
At the beginning of a project, I spend considerable time getting to know my clients, listening to their instinctive likes and dislikes, and understanding what makes them happy in life and in their homes. This is the basis of all the design plans I create. Nothing makes me happier than to see the delight in my client’s eyes as they experience the space that I’ve designed with them.
