When new homeowners of this classic California mid-century ranch in Indian Canyons with a penchant for the dramatic and avant garde called us in to help with wallpaper treatments throughout the home, we jumped on the opportunity to add flair with one-of-a-kind designs. We used a textured gold leaf and wood wallcovering in the niche at the end of the long entry hall to draw the visitor in, with dramatic interplay with lighting. In the primary bedroom, we provided a custom graphic design to our supplier to manufacture a unique wallcovering just for us. Featuring a dramatic flock of psychedelic fuschia birds descending into the entry corridor, the effect creates an immersive experience as you enter the room. The drama of the is then balanced with soothing pale pink grasscloth and a washed out watercolor silk in the interior.
